Free public skating starts at Charles Clark Square

The skating rink at Charles Clark Square is open.

The City of Windsor announced on Tuesday that preparations are complete and free public skating at Charles Clark Square is underway for the season. The rink will be supervised, weather permitting, Monday to Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Holidays hours, again weather permitting, are December 22 to January 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily, except the rink is closed at 3 p.m. on December 24 and 31 and closed all day on December 25 and January 1. Family Day hours on February 18 are 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

All Saints Church will be lending skates for free again on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
