CAS needs help giving 61 families a Christmas

The Children's Aid Family of Windsor-Essex has a saying this time of year, "no family should go without a Christmas".

It says more than 650 families are being sponsored through its Holiday Program, but 61 families could be left out unless the public can help it reach a financial goal.

"Because it is drawing so near to Christmas, we are now receiving monetary donations that allow us to go out and fulfil the wish lists of those families," said Mike Clark, manager of communications and fund development. "Clothing, household items, personal items, toys, of course."

So far, the agency has raised $25,000 of its $50,000 goal.

Donations can be made by calling 519-252-1171 ext. 3360 or online.
