Police said a vehicle rolled over on Highway 3 at around 6:30 a.m. between Marsh Road and Cameron Side Road in Kingsville.
The 27-year-old driver was not injured but has been charged with careless driving.
The eastbound lanes of Highway 3 were closed for about an hour while officers investigated and the vehicle was removed.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
