Police investigate West side stabbing

Windsor Police are investigating after an altercation between a mother and son turned into a stabbing.

According to police, around 11 p.m. Saturday night they responded to reports of a stabbing at a residence on Millen Street near College Avenue.

Police said an argument between a mother and her adult son resulted in the son stabbing his mother in the forehead.

The mother sustained minor injuries. The son fled the scene but was located shortly after by police. He was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
