Man robbed at knife-point in Windsor New Year's Day

Windsor police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly robbed someone at knife-point New Year's Day.

Investigators said a man was walking two dogs at Parent Avenue and Ottawa Street on New Year's Day at around 9 p.m. when another man with a knife approached and demanded money. The victim gave the suspect cash and was not hurt. The suspect walked away and had a heavier set black woman with him.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5'11" and 160 pounds with black hair, scruffy face, and was wearing a black New York Yankees toque, grey pants, and a black and white camouflaged jacket.

Police said no weapon has been recovered.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video from the area.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
