Woman hit at Banwell and Tecumseh Road East dies

A woman who was hit by a vehicle last month in East Windsor has died of her injuries.

The woman was walking through the intersection at Banwell Road and Tecumseh Road East around 9:30 a.m. on December 18.

After she was struck, she was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on January 2.

The road was closed for several hours after the incident.
