Express derail the Magic 110-102

The Windsor Express topped the Moncton Magic 110-102 on Friday.

The Express trailed the Magic 28-22 at the end of the first quarter, but fought back to take a 55-47 lead heading into halftime.  Windsor continued to hold an 86-74 advantage after the third, and Moncton wasn't able to catch up in the final frame with the Express winning with an eight-point lead.

Juan Pattillo scored a game-high 25 points for Windsor and had eight rebounds.

DeAndre Thomas also put up 18 points and had eight rebounds, while Ryan Anderson added another 17 points and four assists.

The Express are on the road of Saturday to take on the KW Titans. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
