OPP identify suspect in Leamington New Year's stabbing

A 24-year-old man remains in hospital after a stabbing in Leamington New Year's Eve.

On Monday, the Ontario Provincial Police said a 21-year-old Windsor man charged in connection with the incident on Whitwam Street.

A woman was driving down the road when a pedestrian flagged her down and told her he had been stabbed. She drove him to the hospital where he was treated for life-threatening stab wounds.

A suspect was arrested later that night at an apartment on Lutsch Street.

Police have now said Robert Low is charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
