Express defeat the Five 115-107

The Windsor Express topped the Sudbury Five 115-107 in NBLC action on Thursday.

The Five ended the first quarter with a four-point advantage, but Windsor was able to cut their lead down to two points by making it 53-51 heading into halftime.

Sudbury continued to hold a three-point lead at the end of the third, but the Express inched ahead in the final minutes of the fourth frame to win with an eight-point advantage.

Juan Pattillo and Chris Jones led Windsor with 26 points each, while Horace Wormely put up another 15 points and had six rebounds. Ryan Anderson and Ty Walker both added another 14 points each.

The Express are on the road on Saturday to battle the KW Titans at 7 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
