Drug bust ends in charges against Windsor woman

The Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit has seized cash, crystal methamphetamine, and fentanyl in a drug bust in Ford City.

Officers had been investigating the trafficking of illicit drugs downtown when they spotted a suspect selling narcotics.

They arrested a 34-year-old woman last Wednesday in the area of Ontario Street and Hickory Road.

Brandi Bishop faces four counts of possessing methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and a count of possessing fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
