Express derail Titans 138-134 in OT

The Windsor Express topped the KW Titans 138-134 following a hard-fought overtime battle on Tuesday.

The two teams traded the lead a few times in the first quarter, with Windsor scoring a 31-23 advantage heading into the second. The Express remained ahead at the end of the second frame to hold an eight-point lead at halftime.

The Titans cut down Windsor's advantage in the third with the Express leading 91-86 heading into the final quarter. However, the two teams continued to go back and forth and ended the fourth frame tied 122-122 to force OT.

An extra five minutes ended the game in favour of the Express who held a four-point advantage.

Juan Pattillo led Windsor with a game-high 40 points and eight rebounds, while Chris Jones added 24 points and seven rebounds. Tyrrel Tate also had 23 points, and DeAndre Thomas put up another 13 points and had four assists.

The Express are on the road on Thursday to take on the Saint John Riptide at 7 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
