Alleged Windsor jewel thieves caught

Two men from Windsor have been charged in connection to an armed robbery at a jewellery store two months ago.

A jewellery store on Walker Road just south of Division Road was held-up November 13 and police were looking for two suspects.

Police recently received information from the Centre of Forensic Sciences that two suspects were identified from the evidence gathered at the scene.

David Burgess, 46, of Windsor is charged with robbery and breach of probation. Jamie Napier, 40, of Windsor, is charged with robbery.

No firearm has been recovered.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
