Windsor cyclist passes away

A female cyclist hit by a car in Windsor two weeks ago has passed away.

She was hit on Tecumseh Road near Parent Avenue in front of the Caboto Club on January 17. Police said she succumbed to her injuries in the hospital on Thursday.

Police have not laid any charges yet. The investigation continues.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
