The police in LaSalle need the public's help identifying a man and a woman suspected in a theft at the LCBO.
The two were spotted at the LCBO on Malden Road in LaSalle around 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
They left the store in a blue Volkswagen hatchback.
This theft comes just days after the LCBO announced it was beefing up security at some stores across the province.
The plan will expand on three priorities: increasing security personnel, implementing new and industry-leading technology to prevent thefts, and mandatory training for employees focused on safety and how to be a credible witness.
The LCBO announced the plan after more than 850 suspects were arrested since April 2018 in the Toronto area alone. Since then, more than a thousand criminal charges have been laid.
