Police seek suspects following downtown stabbing

One person remains in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in downtown Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service said on Friday around 2:20 a.m., officers were called an area of Pelissier Street between University Avenue West and Chatham Street West after a 33-year-old man was found suffering from a stab wound.

Police said he was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man remains in hospital, but police said he is not cooperating with officers.

There are currently two "persons of interest" in the investigation, but police have not released any further information.

The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
