David Meloche purchased his winning ENCORE ticket for the February 27 Lotto 6/49 draw at LaSalle Discount and Variety on Front Road in Windsor. The 58-year old maintenance leader also won an extra $2 on an addition to top off his big win.

“I couldn’t believe it, I thought to myself it can’t be," he said while claiming his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “It’s surreal.”

The father of three and grandfather of four said he plans on sharing the cash with his family, doing home renovations and taking more vacations.
