Police investigate another robbery at same convenience store

Windsor police are investigating the second robbery in four days at a convenience store on Drouillard Road.

Around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, a man walked into the Haf-Price Variety Store wearing black clothing and a black ski-mask. He suggested he had a gun, but the clerk did not see it.

The robbery is very similar to one early Saturday morning, where a suspect walked in around 2:30 a.m. wearing black clothing, and investigators suspect it was the same suspect.

No one was hurt.

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.

Since Friday night, there have been four robberies at Windsor convenience stores. The other two took place on Parent Avenue near South Pacific Avenue, on Tecumseh Road East near Lincoln.
