Man apparently goes for snack, passes out at drive-thru

A Leamington man faces charges after the Ontario Provincial Police got a call about a man passed out in the drive-thru.

Police did not specify what restaurant drive-thru but said it is on Talbot Street West just after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

When officers got there, they found a man hunched over the wheel of a white Toyota blocking the drive-thru lane.

They woke him up. He showed signs of impairment, so they arrested him.

Later the officers found out the suspect was currently on probation.

Craig Howard Allan Hutchins, 35, of Leamington is charged with failing to comply with a probation order, operating a motor vehicle while impaired and driving over the legal limit.
