Express fall to Magic 129-115

The Windsor Express lost 129-115 to the Moncton Magic in NBLC action on Tuesday.

The Express trailed by only one point at the end of the first quarter but the Magic extended their lead to 66-52 by halftime. Moncton continued to hold the lead over Windsor in the third and entered the final quarter with a 12-point advantage. The Express weren't able to gain any ground in the fourth and fell to the Magic with a 14-point deficit.

Juan Pattillo and Chris Jones led Windsor with 29 points each. Horace Wormely also put up 17 points and had seven assists, while Ty Walker added 12 points and nine rebounds.

The Express are on the road again on Wednesday to take on the Halifax Hurricanes at 6 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
