Hurricanes decimate Express 144-78

The Windsor Express suffered their fourth straight loss in a 144-78 defeat at the hands of the Halifax Hurricanes on Wednesday.

The Hurricanes scored a nine-point advantage by the end of the first quarter, but Halifax surged in the second to extend their lead to 73-44.  Express continued to struggle in the third and trailed the Hurricanes 106-57 heading into the fourth.  Windsor couldn't catch a break in the final frame, with Halifax increasing their lead to with a 66-point lead.

Tyrrel Tate led Windsor with 22 points and four rebounds, while Chris Jones put up another 14 points and had three rebounds.

The Express return home on Friday to battle the KW Titans at 7 p.m.
