Driver pinned in crash on Pillette Road in Windsor

Windsor Police closed Pillette Road between Milloy Street and Alice Street briefly after a bad crash early Tuesday morning.

Police said a car smashed into a house near Milloy Street and rolled around 3 a.m.  The driver was partially ejected becoming pinned under the vehicle.

There is no word on how bad the woman's injuries are, but she has been rushed to the hospital.

Police closed the road around 5 a.m. and reopened it about 40 minutes later.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
