Police investigate armed robbery on Tecumseh Road East

Windsor police have released photos, and a description of a suspect after a convenience store clerk was threatened with what looked like a handgun.

The police were called out to the store on Tecumseh Road East between Windemere Road and Lincoln Road around 3:45 a.m. Thursday.

A man had walked into the store and approached the clerk at the counter. He managed to get some money when he brandished the weapon.

The clerk was not hurt.

The suspect was wearing a black stocking over his head and face. He was about 6'0" tall, slender, and weighing about 165 pounds. The man was wearing black sweat pants with a small "Under Armour" logo on the right thigh and a solid black hooded sweatshirt.
