OPP looking for firebug in Leamington

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a series of small fires in Leamington.

The OPP said fire crews responded to multiple small fires in the area of a Setterington Street residential complex on April 8 at around 12:30 a.m. and found a garage and a fence in an alley on fire. The latest happened on Monday at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the backyard of an Orange Street home. Police said all the fires were put out quickly and caused minor damage.

The OPP is looking for the public's help to identify those responsible for the blazes.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leave an anonymous online message at www.catchcrooks.com where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
