LaSalle road closures for parade

The annual LaSalle Turtle Club Parade will mean some road closures in the town Saturday morning.

LaSalle Police say the parade will leave Laurier Drive at 10 a.m. and travel north on Front Road to Reaume Road. From there, it will continue to the Turtle Club Park at Carnegie Road.

Starting at 9:45 a.m., Front Road and Reaume Road will shut down along the parade route.

Those roads will reopen again once the parade ends, around 11 a.m. according to a release from the Town of LaSalle.

The public is invited to come along and cheer on the walkers and attend the celebration in Turtle Club Park.

Drivers are asked to avoid the roads that will close.
