County collision sends two to hospital (VIDEO)

Two people are in the hospital after a crash currently being investigated by the Ontario Provincial Police.

Police say it happened Tuesday at the intersection of Essex County Roads 31 and 14 in Leamington. The collision involved a commercial vehicle loaded with lumber and a smaller SUV. The commercial vehicle overturned and lost its load, as indicated by a video posted via a tweet by the OPP.

Both drivers, each travelling alone, were taken to hospital with what are described as non-life threatening injuries.

County Road 31 remains closed between Concession 8 and Concession 10 and County Road 14 is closed between Graham Side Road and Highway 77 for the collision investigation and cleanup of debris.
