Elderly woman struck by car in Lakeshore

OPP are currently investigating an accident with a vehicle and an elderly woman in Lakeshore.

It happened on Harvest Lane after the woman was hit by a vehicle in the driveway of a residence at around 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

EMS transported the woman to hospital where she is suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries.

OPP say a man was also transported to hospital for the treatment of an unknown medical event.

Details of the accident will be released as the information is provided.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
