Attempted murder charge laid in Lincoln Road stabbing

A 46-year-old Windsor man faces attempted murder and robbery charges following a shocking stabbing last week on Lincoln Road.

Around 12:30 p.m. on July 3, a woman was in the backyard of her home at 876 Lincoln Rd. when a man wearing headphones and an orange safety jacket stabbed her.

She was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Windsor police released a description of the suspect the next day, and on Friday told media investigators were looking for a man named Dana Reardon.

Police arrested the suspect Monday.

Charges against Reardon have not been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
