UPDATE: House fire in East-Windsor under investigation

Windsor Fire and Rescue services fought a fire that broke out on the 3300 block of Riberdy Road on Saturday.

Windsor Fire confirmed via Twitter that the fire started in the back porch area and spread to the attic.

Seven residents in total were displaced including two adults and five children.

All residents were unscathed from the flames.

The cost of the fire is estimated at $100,000.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
