Severe thunderstorm warning ended for Thursday

Wild weather moved through the Windsor-Essex area again.

Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the region for Thursday afternoon. It was cancelled around 4:45 p.m.

Forecasters tracked a thunderstorm with the capacity to produce heavy downpours, up to nickel-sized hail and winds gusting up to 90 kilometres per hour.

The storm was seen in the Amherstburg area around 3:50 p.m. with locations potentially affected that include Cottam, Harrow, McGregor, Colchester, and Essex Centre.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
