Essex Powerlines also reported that 2400 experienced power outages in Amherstburg, 3600 in LaSalle and 3900 in Leamington.
Power was restored to a majority of customers throughout Windsor-Essex around 1 a.m. Sunday.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
