Walk Off The Earth returns to the Colosseum

Less than a year after its keyboardist died suddenly, Canadian indie pop band Walk Off The Earth has a gig at the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor.

The band is scheduled to perform on November 7 at an all-ages show.

The Burlington-based band has a string of hits including "Red Hands", "Fire In My Soul", and "Rule The World", but rose to fame as a five-people-playing-one-guitar sensation playing Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know".

In December, the band suffered a major loss with the unexpected death of band member Mike "Beard Guy" Taylor. Taylor died in his sleep at his home in Burlington of natural causes. In addition to keyboards, he played the organ, accordion, xylophone, euphonium, trumpet, and other instruments.

After much consideration, the band decided to move forward, and use the opportunity to honour and share Taylor's legacy.

Tickets went on sale Friday, July 19 at the Box Office at Caesars Windsor and online. They can also be purchased through TicketMaster.
