OPP identify body found in Lake Erie

The Ontario Provincial Police has finally put a name to the body of a man pulled from Lake Erie back on June 16.

Michel Gaudreault of Leamington had been reported missing on February 14.

The body of the 48-year-old man was found in the water near 700 Point Pelee Dr.

After a post mortem examination in London, police determined the death was not suspicious.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
