Two residents rescued from house fire in East Windsor

Windsor Fire crews were busy Sunday afternoon battling a house fire on Copperfield Place.

Crews were met by heavy smoke upon arrival.

Two residents were rescued from the home and one was treated for smoke inhalation. The extent of any possible injuries is unknown at this time.

The details of the fire have not yet been released.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Residents are being asked to keep away from the area.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
