UPDATE: South Windsor gas leak repaired

Crews are investigating the cause of a gas leak near E.C. Row Expressway.

Windsor Fire and Rescue arrived on Continental Avenue off 4th Street soon after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Enbridge said via tweet that the problem was "due to construction in the area" and four buildings have been evacuated as a precaution.

Windsor fire tweeted just before 11 a.m. that the leak had been repaired and people would soon be allowed to return to work or to their homes. Enbridge also said via tweet that service to all customers in that area should be restored by later Tuesday afternoon.

There have been no reports of illness or property damage as a result of the leak.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
