It happened on Riverside Drive just east of Lakewood Park Tuesday evening.
Firefighters arrived to smoke showing from the first floor.
Crews knocked down the fire quickly but one occupant suffered minor smoke inhalation. The victim was treated at the scene and released.
There has been no word yet on how much damage the blaze caused.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
