Rib Fest making a return to Windsor

If you love juicy ribs and cold craft beer, you're in luck.

The Windsor Rib and Craft Beer Festival is back.

This edition will be held Friday to Sunday at the Riverfront Festival Plaza and will feature the best rib teams from all over the country. They will be serving up beef and pork ribs, BBQ chicken, pulled pork and all the fixins’ you can think of. This family friendly festival offers free admission and a large selection of craft beer, and cocktails, along with live music, and the all new kids zone.

Organizers are also looking for local businesses and artisans to join them for the weekend and encourage people to reach out.

“We really want to build this into something the city is proud of. Partnering up with local businesses and vendors is a big part of this.” said Justin Brown, one of the festival’s organizers. “Plus, who doesn’t want to celebrate the summer with their friends and family with the best BBQ in the country and an ice cold beer?”

Those interested in becoming a vendor or would like to become a local partner can visit www.northernheatribseries.ca or e-mail info@northernheatribseries.ca.
