Arson probe underway in Windsor

Windsor police are investigating an arson.

Police said a fire in the area of Guy Street and Ethan Court on Thursday at approximately 2:45 a.m. was deliberately set. The house was under construction.

"The arson unit attended the scene and through investigation believe the fire to be intentionally set," police said.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area prior to or after the blaze. Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
