Cyclist struck on Tecumseh Road

Windsor police are investigating after a cyclist was struck Friday night on Tecumseh Road East.

It happened around 9 p.m. near Forest Glade Drive. A section of the roadway was closed off for nearly 12 hours as the accident reconstruction unit remained on scene.

Police tell Blackburn News that the cyclist was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

No further details have been provided and the investigation remains active.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
