UPDATE: Pedestrian struck in east Windsor

Windsor police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Lauzon Parkway.

It happened around 10:40 a.m. Saturday. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

No further details have been released at this time as police continue their investigation.

Windsor police have since reopened the section of the road.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
