Pedestrian struck and killed in Lakeshore

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Lakeshore.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night at the intersection of Essex County Road 22 and East Puce Road.

Police say an adult male was struck by a vehicle and later passed away. The roadway was closed for over four hours while the accident reconstruction unit worked on their investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
