OPP investigating injury in Essex

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a man was injured in Essex.

Officers were called to a parking lot on Walker Road at Middle Side Road in McGregor around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Few details have been released but Constable Stephanie Moniz said it was the result of an injured male.

The cause and seriousness of the man's injuries have not been released.

Police said investigation is ongoing and further information will be released once it becomes available.

Anyone with information on this matter who has not already spoken with police is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
