Gun removed from east Windsor home

Windsor police have taken another gun off the street.

A 50-year-old Windsor man is facing a number of gun-related charges after an investigation by the Drugs and Guns Unit of the Windsor Police Service.

Police executed a search warrant at a house on Pillette Road on Wednesday. A suspect was arrested and a firearm was seized from the home.

Gary Bravo is facing charges of possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, improper storage of a firearm, and breach of probation. These charges have not been proven in court.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
