Vehicle crashes into Windsor Tim Hortons

Staff and customers at a Windsor Tim Hortons got a jolt from more than their coffee Monday morning when a vehicle crashed through the window.

A caller to BlackburnNews.com said they drove by and saw the vehicle partially inside the store.

A call to the Tim Hortons on Tecumseh Road East at Chandler Road confirmed the incident.

An unnamed worker said the store was closed, but the drive-thru remained open, and no one was hurt.

The Windsor Police Media Portal said there was a crash in the 3000-block of Tecumseh Road East just before 11 a.m.

Constable Tayla Natyshak told BlackburnNews.com an active investigation is underway.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
