Break-In at Tecumseh hardware store

Essex County OPP is investigating a break-in at a Tecumseh hardware store.

Police responded to an alarm at the store on Lesperance Road near County Road 22 around 11:50 p.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived they found the building had been entered by force.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact them at 519-723-2491.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
