Rappelling in Windsor for Make A Wish

If you are in Downtown Windsor Friday morning, you might see something unusual at the corner of Ouellette Avenue and Riverside Drive.

It is the Make A Wish Foundation's Rope for Hope event at the CIBC building.

About 25 people will rappel down 15 storeys to raise money for the charity, which helps terminally ill children realize their dreams.

Event organizers hope to raise $50,000 to support local wish-granting efforts.

The first rappeller is expected to start their descent at 11 a.m., and the event will wrap up at 2 p.m.
