Police looking for suspect following stabbing East of downtown

Windsor police are investigating a stabbing that left one man in serious condition on Sunday.

Police were called to the intersection of  Marentette Avenue and Brant Street around 10 a.m. where a 33-year-old man was found with stab wounds.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening wounds and is currently in serious condition.

Police are still searching for the suspect. Windsor police confirm that the male suspect and the victim knew each other.

A description of the suspect has not yet been released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
