Man wanted for attempted murder

Windsor police have identified a suspect wanted in connection to a stabbing over the weekend.

The stabbing happened around 10 a.m. Sunday in the area of Marentette Avenue and Brant Street.

Police said they believe the suspect and the victim know each other. They said it's believed the two men were fighting when one of them was stabbed. The victim has life-threatening injuries and is listed in serious condition.

Police have issued a warrant for 25-year-old Zephaniah Moses. He's wanted for attempted murder, assault with a weapon, and possession of a dangerous weapon. He's described as a black male, around 5'8" tall weighing approximately 135lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police linked the suspect to a home on Assumption Street which was searched Sunday evening. A number of items were seized during the search.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
