Police looking for suspect in armed robbery

The Windsor Police Service is looking for help to identify a suspect in an armed robbery.

Police officers were called to a convenience store on Lauzon Road near Edgar Street around 3 a.m. on Monday.

An employee reported that the suspect entered the store, pointed a black firearm at them and demanded money.

It's believed the suspect ran southbound from the business after the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 5'6" tall with a slim build and possibly had brown eyes. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a grey/black sweater with a blue hood and blue lower pocket, and a red handkerchief over his face.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
