Woman in critical condition after apartment fire

A woman is in critical condition after a fire at an apartment building on Temple Drive early Monday morning.

Windsor Fire Services were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m.

Due to the seriousness of the injuries, the Ontario Fire Marshal's office has been called to investigate and should be arriving on the scene late Monday afternoon.

The OFM will help to investigate the cause of the fire.

There's been no word on how much damage the fire caused but its believed most of the damage was contained to one unit on the second floor.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
