Suspect allegedly points gun at workers

A Windsor man is facing charges after allegedly pointing a firearm out a window toward a number of people working in the area.

Windsor police were called to a home on Arthur Road around 9:45 a.m. Monday morning. The house was contained and officers were given a physical description of the suspect.

An adult male matching the suspect description exited the home and was arrested without incident.

After police were issued a warrant, the home was searched Monday evening. Officers seized a number of firearms and ammunition from the residence.

Kevin Shust, 48, of Windsor is charged with pointing a firearm and assault with a weapon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
